Based in Santa Barbara, California,1912 Picture Company is committed to the creation of quality filmed entertainment. Recent projects include feature film Fair Weather Road (in post-production) and filmed shorts Friend, Lockdown, Your Favorite Place.1912 Picture Company is owned and operated by Christina Eliason (SAG-AFTRA, WGA) who obtained her M.F.A. in Screenwriting from UCLA, and her B.A. in Film Directing, also from UCLA. Christina is an award-winning screenwriter (Aflred P. Sloan Fellowship in Screenwriting, UCLA Feature Film Screenplay Showcase Winner) award-winning Producer (The Bet winner Best Feature Film, La Femme Film Festival, Lockdown winner Best of Festival, Venice Shorts, etc) and award-winning Actress (Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Winner and Irene Ryan Best Actress Nominee) with over twenty years film production experience.
Christina has successfully partnered with multiple productions, through 1912 Picture Company, and as an individual work-for-hire, including Chicago Pacific Entertainment (Andrew Davis, The Fugative) and Phoenix Pictures (Shutter Island, Black Swan) on screenplay Treasure Island; Silver Spirit Pictures on film productions Fair Weather Road, Lockdown, and Your Favorite Place, as well as screenplay for Friend; Biscuits and Gravy Productions on Made-for-TV movie Cosmic Therapy, and CCFSB feature film The Bet (Co-Producer, Writer) Directed by Finola Hughes, among others.

1912 Picture Company gets its name from the year the American Film Manufacturing Company, otherwise known as "Flying A Studios," established the first motion picture studio in Santa Barbara, California.
